SUBJECT:  COLLECTION OF EXTRA FUEL SURCHARGE FOR CONTAINER SERVICES

In accordance to Port Authority of Thailand to collect the extra fuel surcharge for container services,  in order to meet with the current situation, by virtue of Article 32 (2) of the Port Authority of Thailand B.E. 2494 and also No. 4 and 13 of the PAT regulations on using the ports, service and various facilities B.E. 2544 to announce as follow:

 

1.      To repeal the notification of the Port Authority of Thailand dated 10th March 2008 subj: Collection of the extra fuel surcharge for container service

2.      The rate of the extra fuel surcharge for container service (excluding VAT) as from 1st October 2008 are as follow:

3.      The Port Authority of Thailand will review the surcharge rate  

       as per No. 2 on the 1st of January, April and October of every year which will use the difference of diesel price of P.T.T. (Public) Co., Ltd. between the average price of the last 3 months compared with the average price of whole year 2004 and will adjust in case of the calculation of the surcharge rate being changed more than 5%.

In accordance to Port Authority of Thailand to collect the extra fuel surcharge for tug boat services,  in order to meet with the current situation, by virtue of Article 32 (2) of the Port Authority of Thailand B.E. 2494 and also No. 4 and 13 of the PAT regulations on using the ports, service and various facilities B.E. 2544 to announce as follow:

 

1.      To repeal the notification of the Port Authority of Thailand dated 10th March 2008 Subj: Collection of the extra fuel surcharge for container service

2.      The rate of the extra fuel surcharge for tug boat service (excluding VAT) as from 1st October 2008 are as follow:

 

2.1    Bangkok Port

 

2.1.1  Tug boat  less than 2,000 HP      Baht    969 / hour

2.1.2  Tug boat more than 2,000 HP    Baht 2,007 / hour

 

                      2.2 Port of Laem Chabang                         Baht 2,686/ hour

 

           3.   The rate of extra fuel surcharge as per No. 2 – To charge at 30 minutes in case of fraction of hour not over 30 minutes and to charge one hour if over 30 minutes but not over one hour.                                                                                

 

4.      The Port Authority of Thailand will review the surcharge rate
